Intelligent Agriculture and Livestock Applications Laboratory (INTALA LAB) specializes on developing intelligent and innovative applications for agriculture and
services. It aims to be a hub for agriculture and livestock research across open data, linked open data, semantic web, ontology, wireless sensor networks, IoT, and service oriented architecture. The group brings together academics from different universities, non-academic advisors, and graduate students. The group currently hosts two M.A. students.

Our Research Focus
INTALA LAB aims to publish collected data in varied open formats such as XML, JSON, RDF/XML, RDF/JSON, Turtle, N-Triples, Notation 3, HTML, and CSV.
INTALA LAB utilizes the strength of semantic web with the aim of providing semantic interoperability and sharing open data in the context of agriculture and livestock.
INTALA LAB focuses on developing new crop-specific trait ontologies as well as using the existing ones in the projects.
Wireless Sensor Networks
INTALA LAB aims to establish new wireless sensor networks to collect data in the context of agriculture and livestock.
INTALA LAB uses IoT devices to establish an infrastructure with the aim of collecting agriculture and livestock data.
Service Oriented Architecture
INTALA LAB develops its intelligent applications based on SOA to provide syntactic interoperability.
